Typically we produce all polished products to < 0.4ym Ra. Smoother surface finishes can be achieved upon request to produce readings such as 0.1ym Ra and 0.2ym Ra.
About Centreless Polishing
Centreless polishing is a machining process that uses fine abrasive cutting to polish the surface material of a workpiece. The workpiece is secured between two rotary wheels, and the speed of their rotation relative to each other determines the smoothness of the final surface finish reading.

At REIS Chrome we have three polishing machines equipped to produce a range of sizes and lengths. Each machine is inspected on scheduled dates to ensure they are operating to full capacity.
Our polishing belts are sourced from the leading suppliers in the UK.
